The year 2037 was the year we started our journey in the world of the plastic industry, when the founder, Mr. Mohan Prasad Ghimire, had the vision to fulfill the demand for plastic in Nepal. At that time, there was only one plastic manufacturing company in Patan Industrial Area, and the supply of plastic was low, creating a significant demand in the market. Mr. Ghimire recognized this as an opportunity to establish a new plastic company and meet the demand of the market. Initially, he started by producing plantation bags, which were not widely available at the time. Although it was a small step, he was determined to make it a successful business.
After a year of hard work and dedication, his son, Mr. Prabodh Ghimire, joined the business
in 2039, providing additional support and helping to expand the product line. They went from
producing plantation bags at home to producing a wide range of plastic products in the
Balaju Industrial Area, successfully meeting the demand of the customers.
As the years passed, Shree Polythene's popularity grew, and they found themselves facing a
pivotal decision - to adapt and expand their operations. Recognizing the changing needs of
its valued customers, the company made a strong decision and shifted its operations to the
vibrant Balaju Bypass. This strategic move allowed them to be closer to their target market,
ensuring faster deliveries and improved customer service. However, the ambitious spirit of
Shree Polythene did not stop there.
Driven by a desire to meet the ever-increasing demand, the company decided to relocate once again, this time to the expansive Balaju Industrial Area. This new location provided them with a larger production facility, enabling them to scale up their operations and cater to a wider market. It was a pivotal turning point that marked a significant milestone for the growth of the company. But Shree Polythene's success was not solely driven by profit and expansion. They were deeply committed to making a positive impact on the environment. Recognizing the urgency of environmental pollution, the company took a bold stand. They dedicated themselves to producing and utilizing reused and recycled plastic products, offering an alternative to traditional materials. It was a revolutionary step towards neutralizing the harmful effects of pollution.
Inspired by the accomplishments of his grandfather and father, Umanga Ghimire decided to
walk in their footsteps. With his expertise and knowledge, the company further expanded its
product line and introduced new and innovative technology to the market.
Despite the new challenges , all the team members are now more committed to their vision and
principles. Today, Shree Polythene & Plastic Udyog Pvt. Ltd. is a well-established plastic
company that has been handed down through three generations of family ownership. Their
commitment to sustainability sets them apart and makes them a company that is not only
dedicated to meeting the needs of their customers but also to create a better future for

In the year 2043, our company achieved a significant milestone by receiving a
Certificate of Recognition in the National Industrial Exhibition held at
Bhrikuti Mandap. This recognition was a testament to the company's commitment to producing
top-quality plastic products and its contribution to the growth of the plastic industry in
Nepal.
Additionally, the company also received a Membership Certificate from the Nepal
Plastic Producer Association, which highlights the company's professionalism,
expertise, and adherence to industry standards.
Also, the company received an Appreciation of Certification from Balaju Industrial
Area in 2079 for its exceptional performance in terms of quality, innovation,
and customer satisfaction.

Shree Polythene Plastic Company has a rich history of three generations of family ownership, starting with the founder, Mr. Mohan Prasad Ghimire, who established the company. After a year, he was supported by his son, Mr. Prabodh Ghimire who recognized the market demand and expanded their business. Later on, Mr. Umanga Ghimire joined the company, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father. Today, the company is run by three generations of the family. It has become one of Nepal's most successful plastic companies, renowned for producing premium products and contributing to the betterment of the nation.
